This promotional set from Benang Istanbul puts two Piramit scarves in one order. 16T Orange Base is a watercolour floral with an orange border, and 56T Green Wave is an olive and ivory stripe. Both are made from rayon and cut as 90 x 90 cm squares, so they fold and tie the same way, and you end up with one bold print and one that goes with nearly everything in your wardrobe.
Orange Base is one of the best sellers in the Piramit range. The print has a loose, painted look: poppy red flowers with dark centres, marigold yellow and soft orange blooms, small bursts of magenta and violet, and olive and dusty rose leaves scattered over an ivory ground. A bright orange border runs along the edges and pulls the warm tones of the flowers together.
It is the scarf to reach for when you want colour. Wear it with plain white, cream, olive or denim so the print has room.
Green Wave is a newer arrival in the collection. Wide olive green stripes alternate with ivory, and partway across the square the stripes change direction, so the pattern ripples once the scarf is tied and the fabric folds over itself. An olive edge finishes the square.
This one is quieter. A single-colour stripe sits comfortably with office wear, white blouses, beige trousers and black abayas, which makes it an easy everyday pick.
Both scarves sit on the same ivory base, and the olive in Green Wave shows up again in the leaves and lime green touches of Orange Base. That shared palette lets you rotate them through the same week, with the same outfits, and neither looks out of place. Orange Base suits weekends, garden events and Raya open houses, where a bright floral fits right in. Green Wave covers work days and anything that calls for pattern without much colour.

Rayon, also sold as viscose, is a fibre made from plant cellulose. It feels soft against the skin, falls in fluid folds and absorbs moisture well. That last point matters in Malaysia, where heat and humidity stay high for most of the year and a scarf that traps sweat gets uncomfortable fast. The fabric on both scarves has a smooth surface with a soft sheen, which keeps the colours clear and saturated.
90 x 90 cm is the standard square scarf size. Folded corner to corner, it gives you a triangle large enough to cover the hair and pin under the chin, with enough length left to wrap around the neck.
Fold the scarf into a triangle, lay the long folded edge across your forehead and pin it under the chin. Bring the ends back around the neck or let them fall over the shoulders. An inner cap underneath helps it stay in place through a long day.
Fold the square into a narrow band and knot it loosely at the side of the neck, or wrap it around a handbag handle. Green Wave works especially well here, because the stripes stay visible even in a tight fold.
